My Track Record

Connect your log to Claude or ChatGPT

Ask an AI about your own meals, workouts, plan, goals and insights. Part of Fast Track.

What it can do: read your log. What it can’t do: change, add or delete anything, or see anyone else’s data. You can turn any connection off in the app at Settings → Health & data → Connect an AI, and it stops right away.

Claude (claude.ai, the Claude desktop app and the phone app)

  1. On claude.ai, open Customize → Connectors, tap + Add, then Add custom connector.
  2. Name: My Track Record. Server address:
https://mytrackrecordapp.com/mcp
  1. Tap Continue and keep the sign-in settings Claude finds, then tap Add and Connect.
  2. A My Track Record page opens. On your phone, open the app, go to Settings → Health & data → Connect an AI and tap Get a code.
  3. Type the 8-character code on that page and tap Connect. The code works once, for 10 minutes.

The connector belongs to your Claude account, so you can switch it on in the Claude desktop and phone apps too: in a chat, tap + → Connectors. Claude’s free plan allows one custom connector.

ChatGPT

Custom connectors need a paid ChatGPT plan and ChatGPT’s Developer mode. ChatGPT moves these menus around, so the names below may differ slightly.

  1. In ChatGPT on the web, open Settings → Apps & Connectors. Under Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode.
  2. Back in Apps & Connectors, choose Create. Name: My Track Record. Server address: https://mytrackrecordapp.com/mcp. Authentication: OAuth.
  3. Tap Create, then Connect, and type the code from the app as in steps 4 and 5 above.

Claude desktop app, without a sign-in (an extension)

This runs on your computer and uses a token you make in the app instead of a code.

  1. In the app: Settings → Health & data → Connect an AI → Make a token. Copy the token (it starts with mtr_pat_). We show it once.
  2. Download the My Track Record extension and double-click it (or drag it into the Claude desktop app’s Settings → Extensions).
  3. Tap Install, paste your token when asked, and switch the extension on. Claude keeps the token in your computer’s keychain.

Claude Code

One command in Terminal, then sign in with a code from the app:

claude mcp add --transport http my-track-record https://mytrackrecordapp.com/mcp

Then start Claude Code, type /mcp, pick my-track-record and choose Authenticate. Your browser opens the code page.

Prefer a token, with the server running on your own computer? Make a token in the app, then run this with your token in place of PASTE_YOUR_TOKEN (it needs Node.js):

This saves the token in your Terminal history and in Claude Code’s settings file on this computer. If you’d rather not, use the sign-in command above.

curl -fsSL -o ~/my-track-record-mcp.mjs https://mytrackrecordapp.com/downloads/my-track-record-mcp.mjs && claude mcp add my-track-record --env MTR_TOKEN=PASTE_YOUR_TOKEN -- node ~/my-track-record-mcp.mjs
